Jon Welch, Director
Oxford graduate Jon started his working life as a schoolteacher and then retrained as an actor at LAMDA, working in London before quitting the stage to write full-time. He has received great acclaim as writer for cube theatre (The Uninvited, Wooden Heart, Freddie Dare and the Ginger Robber, Aubade), and has been part of new writing projects with Bristol Old Vic (Ferment) and the Hall for Cornwall (Responses), as well as being commissioned for the People's Company at Plymouth Theatre Royal. He also writes and directs tailor-made plays for schools and community groups. A talented musician, he sees sound as an integral part of the theatrical experience.

Jude Munden, Designer
A fine art graduate from Falmouth College of Art, Jude taught art in schools before becoming a full time maker/designer. She makes costumes, props, puppets, scenic art and models for film, theatre and exhibition; working from the workshop barge she shares with Alan. She works with companies including Miracle Theatre and Cube, and with English Touring Opera on Laika the space dog, La Clemenza de Tito, the award winning "One Day Two Dawns"and most recently, 'Shackleton's Cat'.
